Notification of Copyright Infringement

Trip Trustees respects the intellectual property rights of others and desires to maintain a platform which does not contain content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

It is Trip Trustees’ policy, at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the account or access of users or Members who infringe the copyrights of others.

Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, Trip Trustees will respond as promptly as reasonable to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to Trip Trustees which are committed while using the Trip Trustees Website or Application Services.

If you are authorized to act under an exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Trip Trustees Website or Application Services by completing the following notice and sending it to Trip Trustees. Upon receipt of the notice, Trip Trustees will act, in its sole discretion, as appropriate, including removal of the material in question from the Website or Application Services.


1. Identify the copyrighted work that you allege has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.

2. Identify the material that you allege is infringing and that is to be removed or disabled and provide information sufficient to permit the location of the material. At a minimum, please include the URL of the link shown on the Website or Application Services where the material in question may be found, if applicable.

3. Please provide your name, email address, mailing address and telephone number.

4. If possible, provide information that will allow Trip Trustees to notify the party responsible for the allegedly infringing content.

5. Include the following statements in the notice: 

"I, in good faith believe that the alleged use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."

"I hereby state, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notice is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright."

6. Please sign the notice with an electronic or physical signature of your full legal name.

Counter Notification

If Trip Trustees receives the above notice, Trip Trustees will make a good-faith effort to contact the person responsible for posting the allegedly protected material, so that they can make a counter notification, as described below. If Trip Trustees receives a counter notification, it reserves the right to reinstate the material in question. If a counter notification is received, Trip Trustees will provide a copy of it to the person providing the notice and inform them that Trip Trustees will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in 10 business days. Trip Trustees will then replace the removed material and cease disabling access to it not less than 10, nor more than 14, business days following receipt of the counter notice, unless its designated agent first receives notice from the person who submitted the notice that such person has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the subscriber from engaging in infringing activity relating to the material on Trip Trustees’ system or network.

The following items must be included in a counter notification, which can be submitted by fax or regular mail:

1. Identify with specificity the URL or other identifying information of the material that Trip Trustees has removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.

2. Provide your name, address, phone number, email address and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or any judicial district in which you may be found if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the notification under subsection (c)(1)(C) or that person’s agent.

3. Include the following statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material identified above was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.”

4. Sign the notice physically or electronically and send it to:
